Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Between the servant and disbelief—or polytheism—is the abandonment of prayer."
