Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Shibl narrated to me, he said: I heard Amr ibn Dinar saying, on the authority of Jabir ibn Abdullah, Ibn Umar, and Ibn Abbas: "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade the selling of fruit until its ripeness becomes apparent."
