Kuthayyir ibn Hisham narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Close the doors at night, extinguish the lamps, tie the mouths of the water skins, and cover the food and the drink, even if you were to place something across it with a stick."
