Musnad Ahmad 33:90

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Muharib ibn Dithar, from Jabir, that Mu’adh prayed with his companions and recited Al-Baqarah in the Fajr prayer—and Abd al-Rahman, meaning Ibn Mahdi, said: The Maghrib prayer—so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "Are you a tempter, O Mu'adh? Are you a tempter, O Mu'adh?"
