Musnad Ahmad 33:934

Abu Ahmad and Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, they said: Sharik narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever wishes to fast, let him take the suhur (pre-dawn meal) with something." And Musa said: "Even if it is with something."
