Musnad Ahmad 33:936

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Burd, from 'Ata', from Jabir, who said: "We used to go on military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we would obtain some of the utensils and water skins of the polytheists, and we would make use of them, and it was not considered a fault for us."
