Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: Some people from the Jews greeted the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "Al-sam (death) be upon you, O Abu al-Qasim." He said: "And upon you." Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, became angry and said: "Did you not hear what they said?" He said: "Yes, I have heard it, and I returned it upon them. We are answered regarding them, and they are not answered regarding us."
