Musnad Ahmad 1302:32

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from al-Mughirah, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, who said: I came to al-Sham and entered the mosque, and I prayed two rak'ahs and said: "O Allah, facilitate for me a righteous companion." Then he mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Shu'bah.
