Hadith 268:2
Haytham ibn Kharijah narrated to us, he said: Tayyaf al-Iskandarani narrated to us, from Ibn Shurahil ibn Bukayl, from his father Shurahil, who said: I said to Ibn Umar: "I have relatives in Egypt who make [wine] from these grapes." He said: "Did any of the Muslims do that?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Do not be like the Jews; the fats were forbidden to them, so they sold them and consumed their prices." He said: I said: "What do you say about a man who took a cluster [of grapes], squeezed it, and drank it?" He said: "There is no harm." When I departed, he said: "Whatever is lawful to drink is lawful to sell."
