Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Ishaq bin Mansur al-Kawthaj, from the people of Marw, informed us in the year two hundred and twenty-eight, he said: Sufyan bin Uyaynah informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Ubaydullah—meaning Ibn Abdullah—from Ibn Abbas, that Sa’b bin Jaththama informed him: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was asked about the people of the polytheist households who are raided at night, and their women and children are struck. He said: "They are from them."
