Musnad Ahmad 403:28

Meat of a wild donkey was gifted to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was at al-Abwa’ or Waddan, and he returned it to me. When he saw the dislike on my face, he said: "It is not that we returned it to you, but we are in a state of ihram."
