Musnad Ahmad 283:1

Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, from Sahl ibn Abi Hathmah, attributing it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: And Sufyan said once: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'When one of you prays facing a sutrah (barrier), let him draw near to it, so that the devil may not cut off his prayer.'"
