Hadith 1151:2
Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Zayd ibn al-Muhajir ibn Qunfudh narrated to us, from Umayr, the freed slave of Abi al-Lahm, who said: I was grazing [livestock] at Dhat al-Jaysh, and a state of poverty and need afflicted me. I mentioned that to some of the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they directed me to an orchard belonging to one of the Ansar. I cut some date clusters from it, so they seized me and took me to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. I informed him of my need, so he gave me one cluster and returned the rest of it to its owners.
