Musnad Ahmad 8:10

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, and he mentioned the hadith with a story in it, and he said: The nephew of Sa‘d ibn Malik said: They mentioned the Banu Najiyah in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he said: "They are a clan from me." And he did not mention Sa‘d in it.
