Musnad Ahmad 8:3

Abu Bakr al-Hanafi ‘Abd al-Kabir ibn ‘Abd al-Majid narrated to us, Bakir ibn Mismar narrated to us, from ‘Amir ibn Sa‘d, that his brother ‘Umar went to Sa‘d among his sheep, outside of Medina. When Sa‘d saw him, he said: "I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this rider." When he came to him, he said: "O my father, are you content to be a Bedouin among your sheep, while the people are disputing over the kingdom in Medina?" Sa‘d struck ‘Umar’s chest and said: "Be silent, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Indeed, Allah the Almighty and Majestic loves the pious, wealthy, hidden servant.'"
