Musnad Ahmad 8:37

Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Ajlan, from ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Salamah, that Sa‘d heard a man saying: "At Your service, O Possessor of the Ascending Stairways (Dhu al-Ma‘arij)." He said: "He is indeed the Possessor of the Ascending Stairways, but we used to be with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we would not say that."
