Musnad Ahmad 8:49

'Abd al-Rahman and 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us—the meaning is the same—they said: Sufyan informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-'Aizar ibn Hurayth, from 'Umar ibn Sa'd, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I am amazed at the decree of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, for the believer. If good befalls him, he praises his Lord and is grateful; and if a calamity befalls him, he praises his Lord and is patient. The believer is rewarded for everything, even for the morsel he lifts to the mouth of his wife."
