Musnad Ahmad 34:5

Zakariya ibn 'Adi narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak informed us, from Yunus, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Safwan ibn Umayyah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, gave to me on the day of Hunayn, and he was the most hateful of people to me. But he continued to give to me until he became the most beloved of people to me."
