Hadith 34:7

'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Ibn Tawus narrated to us, from his father, from Safwan ibn Umayyah, that it was said to him: "No one shall enter Paradise except he who has emigrated." He said: So I said, "I will not enter my house until I come to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and ask him." So I came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, this man has stolen a *khamisah* (garment) of mine." And there was a man with him, so he ordered his hand to be cut off. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have gifted it to him." He said: "Why did you not do so before you brought him to me?" He said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, they say that no one shall enter Paradise except he who has emigrated." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "There is no emigration after the conquest of Makkah, but there is Jihad and intention. So if you are called to march forth, then march forth."
