'Isam ibn Khalid and Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, they said: al-'Ataf ibn Khalid narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "A morning journey in the cause of Allah is better than the world and what is in it, and an evening journey in the cause of Allah is better than the world and what is in it. And the space of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and what is in it."
