Musnad Ahmad 124:13

Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: Ja'far ibn Abi Hurayrah narrated to me—he dictated it from his book—he said: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Jumahi narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl ibn Sa'd, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to say: "A journey in the morning or in the evening in the way of Allah is better than the world and what is in it." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "A space [the size of] a whip in Paradise is better than the world and what is in it."
