Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: Abu Kamil al-Jahdari Fudayl ibn al-Husayn narrated to us—he dictated it to me from his original book—he said: Umar ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Abu Hazim narrated to us, he said: I heard Sahl ibn Sa’d al-Sa’idi saying: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "A morning journey in the way of Allah—or an evening journey—is better than the world and what is in it. And the space of the whip of one of you in Paradise is better than the world and what is in it."
