'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, he said: Mansur ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hajabi informed us, from his mother Safiyyah bint Shaybah, from 'Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, she said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would recline upon me while I was menstruating, and he would recite the Qur'an."
