Waki’ narrated to us, al-‘Umari narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, and ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from ‘A’ishah: "That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had a *lahd* (a niche) dug for him."
