Waki’ narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha, who said: When {And warn your closest kindred} [Ash-Shu'ara: 214] was revealed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stood up and said: "O Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad, O Safiyyah, daughter of Abdul-Muttalib, O children of Abdul-Muttalib, I possess no power to avail you against Allah in anything. Ask me of my wealth whatever you wish."
