Hadith 1153:1071
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi’b informed us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn ‘Ata’, from Dhakwan, from ‘Aisha, who said: A Jewish woman came and asked for food at my door. She said: "Feed me, may Allah protect you from the trial of the Dajjal and from the trial of the punishment of the grave." She said: I kept her waiting until the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is this Jewish woman saying?" He said: "And what does she say?" I said: "She says: 'May Allah protect you from the trial of the Dajjal and from the trial of the punishment of the grave.'" ‘Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up, raised his hands, and began seeking refuge with Allah from the trial of the Dajjal and from the trial of the punishment of the grave. Then he said: "As for the trial of the Dajjal, there has been no prophet who did not warn his nation, and I will warn you of him with a warning that no prophet has warned his nation with. He is one-eyed, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is not one-eyed. Written between his eyes is 'disbeliever' (kafir), which every believer will read." "As for the trial of the grave, it is through me that you will be tested, and about me that you will be asked. When the righteous man is seated in his grave, he is neither afraid nor terrified. Then it is said to him: 'What were you upon?' He says: 'Upon Islam.' It is said: 'Who is this man who was among you?' He says: 'Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He came to us with clear proofs from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and we believed him.' Then a gap is opened for him toward the Fire, and he looks at it, with parts of it crushing other parts. It is said to him: 'Look at what Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has protected you from.' Then a gap is opened for him toward Paradise, and he looks at its flowers and what is in it. It is said to him: 'This is your seat in it.' And it is said: 'You were upon certainty, and upon it you died, and upon it you will be resurrected, if Allah wills.'" "And when the evil man is seated in his grave, he is terrified and panicked. It is said to him: 'What were you upon?' He says: 'I do not know.' It is said: 'Who is this man who was among you?' He says: 'I heard the people saying something, so I said what they said.' Then a gap is opened for him toward Paradise, and he looks at its flowers and what is in it. It is said to him: 'Look at what Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has averted from you.' Then a gap is opened for him toward the Fire, and he looks at it, with parts of it crushing other parts. It is said to him: 'This is your seat in it. You were upon doubt, and upon it you died, and upon it you will be resurrected, if Allah wills.' Then he is punished."
