Musnad of the truthful one, Aisha bint al-Siddiq (RA)

Hadith 1153:1076

Yazid narrated to us, he said: Sufyan—meaning Ibn Husayn—informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aisha, who said: A sheep was gifted to Hafsa while we were both fasting, so she made me break my fast, and she was the daughter of her father. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon us, we mentioned that to him. He said: "Substitute a day in its place."
