Musnad Ahmad 1153:1078

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn ‘Amr informed us, from Yahya ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hatib, he said: ‘Aishah used to say: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) in three types: Among us were those who entered into the state of ihram for Hajj and ‘Umrah together, among us were those who entered into the state of ihram for Hajj alone, and among us were those who entered into the state of ihram for ‘Umrah. Whoever entered into the state of ihram for Hajj and ‘Umrah together did not exit the state of ihram from anything that Allah (the Almighty and Majestic) had forbidden for him until he completed the rites of Hajj. Whoever entered into the state of ihram for Hajj alone did not exit the state of ihram from anything that Allah (the Almighty and Majestic) had forbidden for him until he completed his Hajj. And whoever entered into the state of ihram for ‘Umrah, then performed tawaf of the House, performed sa‘i between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and shortened his hair, he exited the state of ihram from what he had been forbidden until he began Hajj."
