Musnad Ahmad 1153:1123

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from ‘Umarah—meaning Ibn Abi Hafsah—from ‘Ikrimah, from ‘Aishah, that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had two ‘Umani garments—or Qatari garments—upon him. ‘Aishah said to him: "These are two thick garments, and you sweat in them, so they become heavy upon you. So-and-so has received some cloth, so send to him to sell you two garments until a time of ease." He sent to him to sell him two garments until a time of ease. He [the merchant] said: "I know what Muhammad wants; he only wants to take my garments—or not give me my dirhams." This reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Shu‘bah said: I think he said: "He has lied. They know that I am the most God-fearing of them to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic," or he said: "The most truthful of them in speech, and the most fulfilling of them of the trust."
