Musnad Ahmad 1153:1135

'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Mansur, from his mother, from 'Aishah: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would place his head in her lap and recite the Qur'an while she was menstruating."
