Musnad Ahmad 1153:1200

Hajjaj narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, Al-Harith ibn Ya'qub al-Ansari narrated to me, from Yazid ibn Abi Yazid al-Ansari, from his wife, that she asked Aisha about the meat of the sacrificial animals (al-adahi). Aisha said: Ali arrived to us from a journey, and we served some of it to him. He said: "I will not eat it until I ask the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about it." She said: So Ali asked him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Eat it from Dhu al-Hijjah to Dhu al-Hijjah."
