Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from al-Miqdam ibn Shurayh, from his father, who said: I said to Aisha: "Did the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, use to recite any poetry?" She said: "He used to recite from the poetry of Abdullah ibn Rawahah, and he would say: 'And news will come to you from one whom you did not provide with provisions.'"
