Hammad ibn Mas'adah narrated to us, Ash'ath narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Sa'd ibn Hisham, from 'Aishah: "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade at-tabattul (celibacy/renunciation of marriage)."
