Musnad Ahmad 1153:1245

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Malik ibn Mighwal narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'id ibn Wahb narrated to us, from Aisha, that she said: "O Messenger of Allah, regarding this verse: 'Those who give what they give while their hearts are fearful, because they are to return to their Lord' [Al-Mu'minun: 60]. Is he the one who steals, commits adultery, and drinks wine, while he fears Allah?" He said: "No, O daughter of Abu Bakr, O daughter of the Siddiq. Rather, he is the one who prays, fasts, and gives charity, while he fears Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
