Musnad Ahmad 1153:1281

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Aishah, she said: When [the verse] "And if you desire Allah and His Messenger" [Al-Ahzab: 29] was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon me. He began with me and said: "O 'Aishah, I am going to mention a matter to you, so there is no harm upon you if you do not hasten in it until you consult your parents." She said: By Allah, he knew that my parents would not order me to separate from him. She said: Then he recited to me: "O Prophet, say to your wives, if you desire the worldly life and its adornment" [Al-Ahzab: 28]. I said: Is it regarding this that I should consult my parents? For I desire Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, His Messenger, and the Home of the Hereafter.
