Musnad Ahmad 1153:129

Sufyan narrated to us, from Ayyub ibn Musa, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aisha: A thief was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he ordered him to be punished, so he was cut. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, we did not think it would reach this extent with him." He said: "If it were Fatimah, I would have cut her." Then Sufyan said: "I do not know how it is."
