Ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Hanzalah narrated to us, from Ibn Sabit, from Aisha, she said: I was late for the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so he said: "What detained you, O Aisha?" She said: O Messenger of Allah, there is a man in the mosque, I have never seen anyone with a more beautiful recitation than him. She said: So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went, and behold, it was Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfah. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Praise be to Allah who has placed in my Ummah someone like you."
