Hadith 1153:1329

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Zurarah ibn Awfa, that Sa'd ibn Hisham ibn 'Amir—and he was a neighbor of his—informed him: He mentioned the hadith, and that he entered upon 'Aishah, and she mentioned regarding the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "That he used to pray nine rak'ahs, not sitting in them except at the eighth. He would praise Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, remember Him, and supplicate. Then he would rise and not perform the taslim. Then he would pray the ninth, and sit, praise Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, remember Him, and supplicate. Then he would perform a taslim that he would make us hear. Then he would pray two rak'ahs while he was sitting."
