'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Ibn Shihab narrated to me, he said: 'Urwah said: 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out one night in the middle of the night and prayed in the mosque. Some men gathered and prayed with him in his prayer. When the people reached the morning, they talked about the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had gone out and prayed in the mosque in the middle of the night. So, on the following night, more of them gathered. She said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out in the middle of the night and prayed, and they prayed with him in his prayer. Then he reached the morning and they talked about that. On the third night, many people gathered until the people of the mosque became numerous. She said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out in the middle of the night and prayed, and they prayed with him. When the fourth night came, the people gathered until the mosque could almost not contain its people, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat and did not go out. She said: Until I heard some of them saying: "The prayer," but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not go out to them. When he prayed the dawn prayer, he gave the salutation, then he stood before the people, testified, then said: "As for what follows, your situation last night was not hidden from me, but I feared that it would be made obligatory upon you, and you would be unable to perform it."
