Musnad Ahmad 1153:1374

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, and Hajjaj said: Shu‘bah narrated to me, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, he said: I heard al-Qasim narrating from ‘A’ishah, that she said: She had a garment in which there were images, stretched out toward a niche (sahwah), and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to pray facing it. He said: "Remove it from me." She said: So I removed it, and I made it into cushions.
