Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked—Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: My father said: And Ya'la did not attribute it [to the Prophet]—about a man who divorced his wife, then she married another husband, and he entered upon her, then he divorced her before he had sexual intercourse with her. Is she lawful for her first husband? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "She is not lawful for the first until the other tastes her sweetness, and she tastes his sweetness."
