Muhammad ibn Ja‘far, Bahz, and Hajjaj narrated to us, they said: Shu‘bah narrated to us—Hajjaj and Bahz said: Shu‘bah informed me—from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Asbahani, from Mujahid—Bahz said: Ibn Wardan, and Hajjaj said: Mujahid ibn Wardan from the people of Medina, and they praised him well—from ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from ‘Aishah, she said: A freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) died, and his inheritance was brought to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said: "Is there anyone here from the people of his village?" Bahz said: They said: "Yes." He said: "Then give it to him."
