Musnad Ahmad 1153:1405

Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Hajjaj narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu 'Imran, from Talhah—Ibn Ja'far said: Ibn 'Abdullah—from 'Aishah, that she asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "I have two neighbors, so to which of them should I give a gift?" He said: "To the one of them whose door is closest to you."
