Musnad Ahmad 1153:1474

Yazid narrated to us, he said: Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Aisha, she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said during his illness in which he died: "What did you do with the gold?" She said: I said: It is with me. He said: "Bring it to me." So I brought it, and it was between five and nine [dinars]. He placed it in his hand, then he gestured with it—and Yazid gestured with his hand—[and said]: "What would Muhammad think of Allah if he were to meet Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, while this is with him? Spend it."
