Musnad Ahmad 1153:1498

Hajjaj ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Ibn Shihab informed me that ‘Urwah informed him that ‘Aishah informed him, saying: "I used to braid the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Then he would send them off, while he would remain [in Medina], and he would not abstain from anything [that is normally permissible for a person in Ihram]."
