Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: Mansur narrated to me, from Muslim, from Masruq, from 'Aishah: "When the final verses of Surat al-Baqarah were revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited them to the people, and he prohibited trade in alcohol."
