Musnad Ahmad 1153:1592

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Yahya, from 'Amrah, who said: I heard 'Aishah say: "If the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had seen what the women have introduced [of innovations/behavior], he would have forbidden them [from the mosques], just as the women of the Children of Israel were forbidden." I said to 'Amrah: "Were the women of the Children of Israel forbidden from the mosque?" She said: "Yes."
