Muhammad ibn Bakr and al-Ansari narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Umar ibn Abdullah ibn Urwah informed me that he heard Urwah and al-Qasim reporting from Aisha, she said: "I perfumed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with my hand with *dharirah* (a type of fragrant herb) during the Farewell Pilgrimage, for his state of being *halal* (not in ihram) and for his state of *ihram*." And al-Ansari said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us from Umar ibn Abdullah ibn Urwah.
