Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Umayyah informed me, that Nafi’, the freed slave of Ibn Umar, informed him that Aisha informed him that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Kill the gecko, for it used to blow upon the fire for Ibrahim, peace be upon him." He said: And Aisha used to kill them.
