Yahya and Ibn Ja'far narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us—Ibn Ja'far said: I heard Qatadah—from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from 'Aishah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Five [creatures] may be killed by the one in ihram: the snake, the mouse, the pied crow, the kite, and the vicious dog." Ibn Ja'far said: "They are killed in the state of being outside the sanctuary (al-hill) and within the sanctuary (al-haram)."
